Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVT)
Certified Veterinary Technicians provide care and education to our clients. They help educate our clients on proper care and wellness of their pets. They provide assistance to any sick or wounded animals under the care of a veterinarian. Veterinary Technicians are our nurses. They perform duties including, assisting in surgery, dentistry, x-rays, ultrasounds, blood draws, lab work, counseling and, are often called in for after hours emergency help to assist our veterinarians. To become a CVT they have completed a two year program from an accredited college and have successfully passed a state and national exam to become licensed.
Our veterinary assistants are typically non-licensed technicians. They support the Veterinarians and CVT's in their daily tasks by, maintaining equipment; feeding, exercising and grooming patients; preparing and sanitizing surgery and dental suites; restraining and handling patients; and customer services.
Client Service Specialists
Our client service specialists add value to our veterinary services through exceptional customer service by interacting with clients and coordinating communication between the rest of our team. Our client service specialists greet our clients over the phone and in person. They are responsible for patient paperwork, scheduling appointments, book keeping, clerical functions and assisting our team.
